How to choose a gutter color
Most homeowners match the gutters to the trim or the fascia, so the gutter reads as part of the roof edge. White and almond disappear against light trim; brown, bronze and black suit darker trim, brick and stone. A contrasting color works when you want the roof line to stand out, for example dark gutters on a white farmhouse. Downspouts are often matched to the siding instead, so they fade into the wall.
Seeing the real color
Screens show color differently, and baked-on finishes look lighter in full sun. During your estimate the team brings color samples so you can hold them against your trim in daylight before anything is ordered.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
3 questions and answers.
How many gutter colors are there?
Seamless aluminum gutter coil comes in a wide range of baked-on colors, and the exact list depends on the manufacturer. The colors here are common ones; ask for the full chart at your estimate.
Can new gutters match my existing downspouts?
Usually, yes. Bring a photo or ask the team to look at them during the estimate; most standard colors have a close match.
Do copper gutters come in colors?
No. Copper is left bare and darkens to a brown and then a green patina over the years, which is part of its appeal.
